Baby’s comfort during the photo shoot:

Our baby photography is photographed in our professionally equipped studio. Our studio is fully heated or cooled to make your baby totally comfortable during the photography session. Your baby’s comfort is our highest priority. Some parents prefer at home baby photography, we are happy to travel within the Wollongong, Illawarra and Southern Highlands area to photograph families and babies. Please enquire.

Some special times to have your baby photography made are:

Newborn baby up to 2.5 weeks old.

A newborn baby is photographed from day one up to two and a half weeks, while they are still tiny enough for this style of baby photography. Fantastic!! Dad is still on paternity leave… A favorite time for most parents. We recommend that you book your session prior to giving birth; that way we have reserved an appointment for you and if you go overdue or are unwell, we can transfer your session to a new date.

Types of images we create during a newborn baby photography session:

Tiny fingers gripping mums hand, little feet in daddy’s huge hands, delicate lips and button noses, wisps’ of hair and sleepy eyes. Up to 2.5 weeks, your baby is still tiny enough for our great images of your newborn laying skin on skin on dad’s arm. These images show just how small and delicate your newborn baby is when enveloped in daddy’s protective arms. For mum its soft, tender and loving. Our mother and newborn baby photos capture that very special bond between mum and her precious little bundle. We are sensitive to mums body image and concentrate mainly on close, loving head and shoulders of mum with baby.

Little baby 3 to 6 weeks.

Following along a similar theme to a newborn shoot, Baby is still very new and has gained a little more weight and length. We’re still able to get those beautiful sleepy baby images.

Bright baby “just smiling” session 6 to 8 weeks.

Not so little anymore. Baby is beginning to smile and interact with mum and dad for the camera. Coo’s and Goo’s melt all our hearts during this wonderful stage.

Baby holding head up when on tummy usually from 12 weeks.

Chubby little fingers and chubby little toes, cherubic smiles showing how clever we are laying on our tummy and holding our head high.

Baby 6 months old a special time in a baby’s life.

The traditional time for naked babies on lambswool rugs. We’re laying on our back and touching our toes (so cute) and smiling happily for the camera. We’ll sit up with our parents in a family portrait.

Baby sitting 6 to 8 months.

Strong and just growing up far too quickly, sitting and posing like a little model. Everyone loves this stage.

Baby 9 months old another magic moment.

Baby crawling and into exploring or playing on the floor with mum and dad, lots of fun!!

Babies’ first birthday 1 year old.

This is just too important to miss. Most families book this date at least 4 months in advance to make sure they hold their session.

Baby first steps 10 to 18 months.

Another important stage of growing up. Please, give us a gluepot to keep them in one place. The parents joy can be the photographer’s nightmare… Seriously, toddlers are an absolute delight. We photograph them totally naturally as they discover the delights of the world around them.
